PUBLIC VISITATION for Mr. Wardell Wilkins, of Tuscaloosa, Alabama will be Friday, May 1, 2026 from 3:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at Lavender’s Funeral Service.
THE HOME GOING CELEBRATION HONORING THE LIFE & LEGACY of Mr. Wardell Wilkins will be Saturday, May 2, 2026, 12:00 AM at Aliceville City Hall, 419 Memorial Parkway, Aliceville, Alabama. The body of Mr. Wilkins will lie in state in City Hall one hour prior to the service.
INTERMENT will immediately follow the service at Old Bethany Cemetery, 4425 Vienna River Road, also in Aliceville, AL. Reverend William Miles will be the The Eulogist.

I worked with Dale at Adtran for a long time. When I was pregnant with my youngest daughter, Dale would always make sure I didn't lift anything heavy. Always made his coworkers laugh. Condolences to his family. May God wrap his loving arms around you all.

Dell and I worked at Adtran together for many years, he was the most kind and loving person that anyone could ever meet. Dell was the comedian of our group kept us laughing at all times m to make the day go by faster . I will forever cherish all those memories.
