Chaz Jordan Smith, passed away unexpectedly, the evening of September 20, 2022. He was born on February 1, 1983, to Fritz Smith and Joan Cascilla Harrigan in Anguilla, BWI. Chaz was a native of Anguilla where he was schooled and accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as his savior. At a very young age, he became an apprentice to his older brother Gerard Smith where he learned most of his construction skills. Chaz would later become an independent master carpenter. Chaz was a very creative, compassionate, and gifted carpenter. He loved his craft, and it was displayed in his work. Chaz also enjoyed music, cooking, telling stories, riding bikes, and spending time with family and friends. Everyone who knew Chaz felt his big heart and giving nature. In 2013, Chaz and Rochelle met in Anguilla, BWI. They would later marry and have two children, Chalylon and Christopher Smith. Chaz is also the father of Nia Smith. Chaz was a great husband and a wonderful father. Chaz loved and cherished his children, he found them to be his biggest accomplishment and most precious gift from God. Chaz adored his mother, Joan, whom he affectionally described as a wonderful person, mother, and friend. God was ready and we were not! Knowing Chaz, the courageous and adventurous spirit in him, though not ready, he accepted the call, and went to sleep! May he rest in peace! Chaz was preceded in death by his father Fritz Smith and son Jordan Smith. Leaving to cherish his loving memories are: Rochelle (wife), Sons (Chaylon and Christopher), Daughter (Nia), mother (Joan), Brothers (Robby, Willard, Gerard, Grenavo, and Gleveille), Sisters (Sharon, Cherise, and Joselene), and a host of uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces, brothers and sisters in-laws, and friends.
