Mr Rollins was an exceptional motivator and mentor. He always knew how to navigate around the unforeseen obstacles of being a black man in America. He encouraged others to do more than settle and this philosophy always ensured the he was noticed. Friend now you can rest your spirit and your legacy will continue to flourish. My condolences to the family. I used to work at Jackson park hospital where I knew Danny. He was a strong, friendly and Outstanding person ever to had known! He'll be missed.RIH King!🕊❤🌹

I was so sad to hear of Danny's passing. Please extend my deepest sympathies to his family and friends. We go way back to his days at Michael Reese, and then when he entered the Program in Radiography at Wright where I was his instructor. He was a kind soul, driven to succeed. My family and I would like to extend prayers and condolences to friends and family of Danny Jerome Rollins, I just received word of his passing, I now live in California but grew up and went to elementary school with Jerome when we lived on Normal Avenue. We haven't seen each other since we were teenagers but my brothers (Santiago (Santi) and Lawrence) have fond memories of our fun childhood together. May he rest in Peace. Love Jil Cortez-Robinson
