Darnell Harkins

This is a message of love and caring to Lolita, Sabrina and the rest of the Harkins family. Although I don't get to see Darnell while he was growing up, because I spent a lot of time in the U.S. Army which kept me away from most of them. Even so, I will certainly miss Darnell. I know that his death is very difficult for the family to digest, but I know that we will get through this. Lolita, Sabrina and all the rest of the family, I only wish for you my love and caring. J

My Dad, truly a great advisor, a strong man with responsibility and a sense of humor plus more. I saw my grandma in him and others see him in me. While I believe that death is a sleep and the dead in Christ will rise first at the second coming of Christ all most await till that great day to enter into the gates of heaven as it states in 1 Thessalonians. I appreciate the gift God has given me to have him as my dad. He had a lot of good and admiral characteristics that I inherited and I thank God for this and him. So as it says in the Bible "in everything give thanks for this is the will of God concerning you."
