Ed Brooks was an avid fisherman, after convincing my husband (Floyd)to join him on the banks, with his expression of "There is nothing better than fresh fish pulled from the lake and fried on the spot", Floyd agreed to go. Ed picked him up at 4am. Consequently, the fish were not biting. Ed would have stayed out all night and day, come home with nothing and never said a word about his loss, not Floyd who never understood the patience of a fisherman. Ed returned home, earlier than he planned, Livid to put it mildly. Ed was upset with me as well, saying "Liz, if I ever ask this(person) (not the exact wording), to go fishing with me again! SHOOT ME!
