I taught Kiera last fall in sociology. I was moved by her eloquence and ability to speak succinctly about the topics we learned about in class. I am so deeply sorry for her passing. We were there the day Kiera gave her life to God at a very young age, with the understanding of what it meant to say yes to God. I was blessed to have Kiera as a student. Kiera's smile could light up the room, especially when she had made a triumphant point in a discussion. She always enjoyed a good debate. Her penchant for writing in cursive made me smile. I looked forward to reading her ideas. She was gifted with her words. Kiera will always be remembered her for standing up for what is true and just. My heart is broken for Kiera and her family. I will lift prayers for peace and divine comfort to cover Kiera's friends and family. -Christina Kim

I was also one of Kiera's teachers. I remember an essay she wrote about her passion for history and for asking questions. I remember how much Kiera loved the television show Stranger Things.
