My deepest sympathy to LaTia family!
LaTia was definitely a bright light and im honored that she chose Tobe friends with me. From our long rehearsal hours in Strong Tower Gospel Chorale at our Beloved Grambling State University to singing at your beautiful nuptials, LaTia's energy and light radiated to all in or near her presence.
Bryant, I pray that God will cover you in his Grace in the days and months to come. We, your extended GramFam, are here and we are lifting you and the entire family in prayer.
Rest well Friend!
So grateful for the season I had with LaTia at Grambling. She sang in Strong Tower Gospel Chorale with us and was such a sweet spirit! We spent many hours, as college students, perfecting our ministry to draw people to Christ. I was there when she crossed over as an AKA and when she graduated from GSU. What a blessing she was to my college life! I am so grateful for the opportunity to have known her! Her light was shining bright then and she is still shining now, though she is lighting up her heavenly home. May God bless her husband, close family and friends as you adjust to her new assignment. Please know that you have many praying for you near and far! May God comfort and keep you!
Donelle Bratton Former President of GSU Strong Tower Gospel Chorale
Praying for Latia's husband Bryant, and the family. Words can't express the way I feel about her loss! She was truly a great friend. She was a true woman of God! She was always helping and doing work at her church! She was so caring, loving and kind hearted to everyone. She loved her husband & family dearly and would always talk about them in her conversations. I'm truly going to miss her, but I will always hold her and all of our memories dear to my heart. She was definitely our GSU alumni classmate that kept all of her friends informed of what was going on and made sure every body was taking care of. Keeping her family in my prayers & praying that God gives you all comfort at this time!
I'm so saddened that this beautiful spirit was taken so soon. Latia was a subtle ray of sunshine wherever she went, and I hope that sunshine warms your heart with each thought of her. Sending my heartfelt prayers and my deepest condolences to your family.
My prayers are with LaTia's husband and her family! I will always remember her kindness and her great sense of humor and wonderful smile. A lady with a great heart and joyful, friendly spirit! She will be missed greatly! May God give you peace and comfort!

Sending deepest sympathies to LaTia's dear family and friends. She radiated light everywhere she went. She will be truly missed. I'm just grateful that we got to share a little time on Earth together. Sending prayers to everyone mourning her loss and celebrating her life.
LaTia, our hard working colleague who would embrace challenges and take up extra tasks to help out the team in whatever capacities needed, will be deeply missed. We will miss your brilliance, your years of knowledge, your experience in handling grants, and your fun and bubbly personality! Thank you, LaTia, for being my mentor and my colleague. I will continue to cherish your warm smile and laughter. In remembrance of you and all you've contributed to the Rotary and to our team, I am grateful for the times we worked together.
