Mr. Virgil Pigford of Piperton, Tennessee, a native born Indian, from Columbus, NC. He was a retired Well Driller. Husband of Mary Louise Price-Pigford. Virgil attended World Over Comers Church. He was the son of Joseph Thurman Green and Ida Jane Webb. He leaves behind One Son: Eli Pigford (North Carolina); Four daughters: Charlena Hyde (Texas), Elizabeth Price (TN), Willette Blade, and Alicia Price; one son Willie Price and One Brother: Larry Webb; Nine Grandchildren: Christopher, Macy, RL III, Ashley, Tiffany, Tyler, Allison, Marcus, and Devin; Four Great Grandchildren: Roman, Londyn, Kingston, and Isiah.

Visitation with the family Friday, July 25, 2025, at Mabone Funeral Home 1435 Teague Store Road Somerville, Tn. from 11:00 am -12:30 pm. Funeral Services will be held at Mabone Funeral Home on Friday, July 25, 2025, at 1:00 pm. Eulogist, Rev. Wallace Montaque. Interment: Cypress Memorial Garden
