A. J. Clark, Sr., 75, of Reel St., Harrisburg, transitioned into eternal life on Wednesday, January 23, 2019 in the peace and love of his home.
He was born in Harrisburg, son of the late, Raymond and Elsie (Stewart) Clark; retired from Norfolk Southern, a member of American Legion Ephraim Slaughter Post #733 and in his leisure, enjoyed fishing & gardening and loved watching tennis matches, especially Serena's.
A. J. leaves to celebrate his life, his wife, Mae H. Clark; his children, Akia White, Roberta, Sherry, Willa Mae, A. J., Jr., Lonnie, Priscilla, Shannon and Carmella; his brother, Raymond Clark, Sr.; his sisters, Olive Grant and Betty Spence; his grandchildren, Dmitri and Isaiah Millard; 23 additional grandchildren and a host of great-grands, other relatives and friends.
His life will be celebrated on Thursday, January 31 at 11:00 a.m. in the Sanctuary of Goodwin Memorial Baptist Church, 2447 Green St., with viewing 10:00 until 11:00 a.m. and burial in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens. Arrangements entrusted to the Ministry of Comfort of Major H. Winfield Funeral Home, Steelton
