Arlington F. Jackson, 74, of Second Street, Harrisburg, departed this life on May 20, 2025 in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. He was born in Steelton, Pennsylvania, the son of the late Arlington L. and Beatrice Stickle Jackson. He attended school in Steelton and graduated from The Steelton-Highspire High School.
Arlington was a member of Mount Zion Missionary Baptist Church, where he served with the ushers, sang on the choir, attended Sunday School and BTU (Baptist Training Union Ministries), was a member of the Boy Scouts Troop 205 and worked at the Hygenic Hose Company.
During his working career, he worked at the Commonwealth Bank, Pittsburgh Paint and Glass and part-time at Boscov's.
Arlington was preceded in death by his parents, grandparents and brothers, Charles R. Jackson and Donald E. Jackson. He leaves to cherish precious memories of him, his sister, Beatrice βNitaβ Britton of Middletown; one daughter, Kristin Jackson of Colorado and two sons, Sean-Michael and Jonathan Jackson of Carlisle.
His life will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 7, 2025 in the Sanctuary of Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church, 20 Locust Street, Steelton, PA.
