Austin Robertson, 32, of Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, passed away on April 20, 2026, leaving behind a legacy of laughter, a quick wit and a smile that could brighten any room he walked into.
Born in Harrisburg to Willard Austin “Robby” and Darmayne (neé Carelock) Robertson. Austin was educated in the Diocese of Harrisburg and the Harrisburg School District. Driven by a passion for learning how things worked, he continued his education at the Pennsylvania College of Technology, where he successfully earned both his Associate’s and Bachelor’s degrees. He was a trained Engineer and skilled in building HVAC management systems, relocating to VA, Georgia and back to Virginia to pursue his professional advancement.
To those who knew him best, Austin possessed a rare, infectious energy and a sharp wit that made him the life of the party. A jokester and keen observer, he had a way of making sure everyone around him was laughing and having a good time, even if they were the recipient of his wise cracks.
Austin’s passions were a major part of his life. He was a devoted, lifelong fan of the New England Patriots, never wavering in his loyalty to his team. His love of cars was a hobby that matched his technical mind and appreciation for design. He also had a love for designer wear and travel, always showing up looking his best, eager to hit the road, explore new places, and see what the world had to offer.
Austin is survived by his daughter, Alliyah; his parents, Willard “Robby” and Darmayne Robertson of Harrisburg; his grandmother, Barbara Rice of Harrisburg; his grandfather, Joseph Solomon, Sr.; his sisters, Keihana (Raymond) Carelock-Thomas of Harrisburg and Ashley (Nicholas) Lucente of Jersey City, NJ; his brother, Willard III “Lil Robby”; his nieces, Camryn, Aniya, Rayna, Imani and Vera; his nephews, Raymond, Rayvon, Jayven, Willard IV and Nico; great-nephew, Cairo; his close friends, Veronica Lockard of Fairfax, VA and Kyreef Reid of Chambersburg, PA and countless cousins, aunts, uncles and friends-turned-family who will forever miss his humor and his heart.
A celebration of Austin’s life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, May 11, 2026 in the Chapel of The Major H. Winfield Funeral Home, Steelton with viewing and visitation from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. Followed by the repast at Sweet Confections Cakes, 4702 Fritchey st Harrisburg, PA 17109.

Austin, you are truly gone too soon. You've always been so kind and well mannered, with a lil joke on the side for Razzle Dazzle. I will never forget how you took me under your wing as soon as you met me at Cathedral because our families were like family. And because of that, you treated me like family. You made me feel safe in a new environment, and for that, i will always be grateful. Your smile could light up the entire room, even if It was you laughing at your own jokes. You will be deeply missed.
