BRYSON L. DOUBS-CLARK, son of Victoria Doubs and Preston Jackson, Jr., was born on Wednesday, April 24, 1991 in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. He was adopted by his aunt and uncle, Victoria and Gene Clark.
He received his formal education at the BMA (Blue Mountain Academy) in Hamburg, Pennsylvania. During his working career, Bryson was an employee of the Federal Government at the former Mechanicsburg Naval Supply Depot.
Bryson, “36Bricks”, as he was affectionately called by family members and friends, was very enthusiastic about writing and rapping his own music. He also enjoyed baking, maintenance work and family fun gatherings. He was a loving and devoted father who enjoyed spending time with his children. Having accepted the Lord as his personal Savior, Bryson was a former member of the Harrisburg Seventh-Day Adventist Church under the pastorate of Pastor Dave Sanders.
On Saturday, May 16, 2020 in the peace and love of his home in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, Bryson L. Doubs-Clark, at the age of 29 years and 25 days, peacefully transitioned into eternal life. He was preceded in death by his mother, Victoria Doubs and his adopted father, Gene Clark. He leaves to celebrate his life and to cherish precious memories; his three sons, Jáwon Germany, Amoni Doubs and Camry Doubs; his father, Preston Jackson, Jr.; his adopted mother, Victoria Clark; his sister, Miklynn “Missy” Doubs; his brothers, Antonio “Tony” Doubs-Clark and Jy´quise Carpenter; his maternal grandmother, Janet Hamilton Doubs; his paternal grandfather, Preston Jackson, Sr.; his uncles, James Bowman and Ulysses Doubs, Sr.; his loving companion, Brianna Mills and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, who were more like brothers and sisters, other relatives and friends.
Bryson’s life was celebrated on Friday, May 29 in the Chapel of Major H. Winfield Funeral Home at 12 Noon with a viewing at 11:00 a.m. until Noon.
