Charlotte Washington Miller, 91, of Harrisburg, peacefully transitioned into eternal life on Tuesday, May 4, 2021 at the Jewish Home of Harrisburg.
She was born in Harrisburg, daughter of the late Edward T. and Bertha (Brown) Washington, a 1947 graduate of the former William Penn High School, retired from the Harrisburg State Hospital, a member of the former Camp Curtin Memorial Mitchell United Methodist Church and in her leisure, enjoyed Puzzle Books and Word Searches.
In addition to her parents, Charlotte was preceded in death by her son, Charles Miller and leaves to celebrate her life; her children, Marilyn Green and husband, Walter, Valerie Miller and Erwin Miller and wife, Sonya; her sister, Susie Speaks; her eight grandchildren; eleven great grands; three great-great grands and a host of other relatives and friends. Charlotte's life will be celebrated on Tuesday, May 11th at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel of Major H. Winfield Funeral Home, Steelton with viewing from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. and burial in William Howard Day Cemetery.
COVID-19 Guidelines will be observed with face masks and social distancing for all attendees.
