She was born in Harrisburg, daughter of the late Leroy and Nannie (Pendleton) Brown, a graduate of the former John Harris High School, an employee of McNeese, Wallace and Nurick Law Firm, a member of Mt. Zion Church of God in Christ, where she served as the Minister of Music. Constance was the widow of Ajay Collins and leaves to celebrate her life, her daughters, Stephanie D. Mitchell (Joe), CaSondra L. Harper and Jacqueline N. Harper; her sisters, Sarah C. Henderson (Mark) and Diane Jenkins; her brothers, Leroy, Michael and Franklin L. Brown; her nine grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
Because of the COVID-19 Pandemic, Sister Collins' Family will celebrate her life with a private viewing and funeral in the Sanctuary of her Church followed by burial in Paxtang Cemetery. Depending on the State of the Nation, there will be a Community Memorial Service on May 23 for the friends and Church Community to celebrate Sister Collins' life.
