Obituary For Crystal Tippitt
Crystal “LaRae” Tippitt, daughter of the late Margaret Cecilia (Cuff) Tippitt, was born in Carlisle, Pennsylvania. Crystal attended Harrisburg High School in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania.
Self-named “LaRae also known as Dominique Deveraux,” Crystal had a love for luxurious things and loved to dress trendy, stylish, and classy. She loved taking photos of herself and in her spare time she crocheted and made beautiful blankets.
She was well known for speaking her mind and her fighting spirit. She fought for her life until the end where she found rest in her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. She was a member of the From Heart Church Ministries of Harrisburg.
On April 27, 2026, Crystal went home to be with the Lord at sixty-seven years of age. Along with her mother, she was preceded in death by her siblings, Donald & William Tippitt; her daughter, Jamie McLaughlin and her nephews, Michael Tippitt and Darnell Hicks.
Crystal leaves unforgettable memories and her love to her surviving aunt, Agnes Barbara George; siblings, Mary Ann Rogers, Patricia Ann Winters, Jacqueline L. Tippitt and Stacey L. Tippitt; her brother in love, Jerome Staff, Sr.
She leaves her nephews & nieces, Sean (Asia) Tippitt, Tonya (Carl) Martell, Michelle Tippitt, Terah Tippitt, Crystal (Steven, Sr.) Welsh, Brianne (Lewis, Jr.) Robinson, Jerome (Dawanna) Staff, Tiera Thompson-Howell, Sasha Tippitt; her god children, Angelo Arrington, Daevon Woodward, Crystal Janae Newkirk and a host of great and great-great nephews and nieces along with many other relatives and beloved friends.
Her life will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, May 7, 2026 at From the Heart Church Ministries of Harrisburg, 300 Hale Avenue, Harrisburg, PA with memorial visitation from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m.

Hey Cuzin, so sorry I couldn't make it home. I love you and we have so many memories. Oh my goodness gracious do we ever my daughter Jasmine you named Jasmine LaRae your middle name or one of your middle names you chose and it was actually hilarious. Her dad wanted to name her Jayla something and he was like absolutely not. We're not name her that ugly ass name sometimes why always good but we made the best of them not I don't know, but girl we've had so many so many good time. Good bad or between we've laughed together, cried together. I remember the one time we went over to Camp Hill shopping mall and I couldn't figure out how to get off the parking lot girl. It was early in the morning drunk as hell and we needed some money. He was like this drive straight and that's what we did up over the curves across the bridge and back home to sell those those leather coats and that poor sales girl, she didn't know what to do. All you said Cuzn do you want the knife or the maze? I was tripping it was raining and the store had just open. Wanna many funny things I can remember my mom I'm saying y'all better stay at the mall and I remember you saying here aunt Jean I got this for you and she'd be happy as hell. It really broke my heart and sad in me to know that you were gone, but I find Comfort, in knowing ythat you're no longer in pain. You're no longer suffering. I love love love you always Cuzin always.
