D’Aonte Duronn Stern (Dooders), 22, of Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, entered eternal rest on October 22, 2025. He came into this world early — small but strong — and from the very beginning, he showed the heart of a fighter. His strength, faith, and determination carried him through every challenge life presented.
He played varsity football and basketball before graduating from Susquehanna Township High School in 2021.
D’Aonte lived with passion, courage, and a spirit that could not be broken. He was known for his bright smile, his warm laughter, and his ability to bring joy to everyone around him. His presence was powerful yet gentle — a reflection of a young man who truly cared for others and lived life on his own terms.
Above all, D’Aonte was a loving father of three. His children were his pride and joy. He loved them deeply, providing guidance and hope for their futures. His heart for his family, his loyalty to his friends, and his unwavering faith will be remembered forever.
Though his time on earth was far too short, his impact will live on in the hearts of everyone who knew him. D’Aonte fought the good fight, he finished his race, and he kept his faith. Heaven opened its pearly gates, where family and friends awaited him with open arms — welcoming him home to eternal peace and joy.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Patricia Stern and Carl Smith and his uncle, Duwan Stern who now rejoice to be reunited with him in Heaven.
D’Aonte leaves behind, Anylah Duffin and his beloved three children, D’AoniDuffin, DuwanDuffin and Aloni Stern; his loving parents, NiColette (Jerry) Collins and Duronn Stern; his bonus mother, Aja Jones; his siblings, D’Amonte Porter, Ja’Mir Collins, Ja’Sir Collins, Troi Stern, Ja’SeanCollins, Day’Neisha Baskerville, Shydia Collins and Zyairah Collins; his aunt, Whitney Joyce; his uncles, Durell Stern, Dushawn Beecher and Christopher Butts; his maternal grandparents, Colette (Jackie Joyce); extended family and countless friends who will forever cherish his memory.
D’Aonte’s life reminds us that true strength is not measured in years, but in love, faith, and the lives we touch along the way.
His life will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, November 5, 2025 in the Chapel of the Major H. Winfield Funeral Home, Steelton with viewing and visitation from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. and burial in Paxtang Cemetery.

May you find solace in the cherished memories you shared and the love that surrounds you during this difficult time. Lean on those who care for you, knowing that you are never alone in your grief. My thoughts and prayers remain with you as you navigate the days ahead, and I am hopeful that peace will gently fill your heart.
Duronn, several years ago, I had the pleasure of being Troi's nanny and overseeing D'Aonte when I would come in the evenings to sit with them until either you or Aja came home from work. D'Aonte was such a quiet young man and with all your children were very respectful. I admired how well he and Troi behaved which is a true testament of your wonderful parenting skills! I am still in disbelief that D'Aonte has passed but I will always remember that beautiful smile he had and that calm spirit of his! I will be with you in spirit praying for you and your family for comfort and strength as you bear this unbearable loss! Peace and Love Ms. Valerie Avila
