Erica M. Jeffries, 41, of Harrisburg, peacefully transitioned into eternal life on Monday, April 19, 2021 in M. S. Hershey Medical Center. She was born in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, the daughter of Starling McDonald and Joyce Jeffries-Broadus. She was a lifelong resident of Pennsylvania. Erica received her formal education in the Harrisburg School District; attended the former John Harris High School.. During her working career, she worked as a CNA and a distribution specialist and was a member of the Tabernacle Baptist Church. She was full of life and enjoyed celebrating it as much as she could with family and friends. In her leisure, she enjoyed playing board/card games, watching movies and listening to music with family and friends Her stepfather, Morris Carter preceded her in death. Erica leaves to cherish memories of her, her four beautiful children, Ronaye, Desiree, Amani and Aaron Jeffries; her father, Starling McDonald (Michelle); her mother, Joyce Jeffries-Broadus; her fiancé, Michael Washington; her seven grandchildren; her goddaughter, Michele Wright and her four children; her brothers, Davious “Foodie” Jeffries and Nakia “P D” Jeffries (Romance) of Pennsylvania, Starling McDonald, Jr. (Salisa) of Dover, Delaware and Justin McDonald; her sisters, Sherese Parsons and Tiffany McDonald of Pennsylvania; her paternal grandmother, Alzrio McDonald and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Erica’s life will be celebrated on Monday, April 26 at 11:00 a.m. in the Sanctuary of her Church at 2730 Booser Avenue, Harrisburg, with viewing from 10:00 until 11:00 a.m. and burial in Paxtang Cemetery.
