Obituary for Gene Brown
Gene Arthur Brown, 76, of N. 17th St., Harrisburg, transitioned into eternal life on Wednesday, February 6, 2019 at Sub-Acute in Mechanicsburg.
He was born in Harrisburg, son of the late John and Mary (Mills) Brown, a graduate of the former John Harris Senior High School, retired from the former New Cumberland Depot with 35 years of service and in his leisure, he loved fishing and enjoyed bingo. Gene is survived by his companion, Shirley Young; his daughter, Elayne Price; his sons, Gene Brown, Jr. and Gregory Brown; his five grandchildren, three great grands and one great-great grand.
Gene's life will be celebrated on Saturday, February 16 at Noon in the Chapel of Major H. Winfield Funeral Home, Steelton with viewing 10:00 a.m. until Noon and burial in William Howard Day Cemetery.
