Obituary For Harriette Johnson

Harriette A. Johnson, 85, of Harrisburg, transitioned into eternal life on Wednesday September 25, 2019. She was a member of Baptist Fellowship and retired from Community General Osteopathic Hospital. Harriette was the widow of Arthur Johnson, and leaves to celebrate her life, her children, Clarence Roy, Jr., Michael Roy, Sr., Jeffery Roy and Patricia Roy-Void; her step-son, John Clark; her 13 grands and 32 great grands and one great-great grand. Her life will be celebrated on Thursday, October 3 at 11:00 a.m. in the Sanctuary of Goodwin Memorial Baptist Church, 2447 Green St., with viewing 10:00 until 11:00 a.m. and burial in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery.

My cousin Harriet was more like an Aunt than a cousin. She was my Mother's first cousin, but they were more like sisters than cousins. Harriet was kind, gentle, and loving. Her faith in God was unwavering, and I know she is dancing with the Angels in Heaven. I have a bouquet of fond memories of her, and am grateful for the times we spent together. Even though she has gone away, her love will always be here to stay. She touched our hearts with so many things, and will be missed so very much. Love, Alice Mae
