Helen Jeanette Holmes-Grier, 89, of Middletown, transitioned into eternal life on Thursday, June 16, 2022 peacefully at home.
She was born in Steelton, PA to the late Ida Bell Holmes-Bair and the late Fred Moore.
Helen was a graduate of the Old Steelton High School, a member of the New Hope Living Baptist Church, Cyrenus Temple #75 IBPOE of W and retired from the former Bell Telephone Company.
She was the widow of Israel Grier and leaves to celebrate her life, her 3 daughters, Wanda E. Brooks (Henry), Victoria Richardson and Anita Holmes-Wilson; her 2 sons, Napoleon K. Holmes (Kelly) and Richard B. Terry (Michelle); her foster son, Jim Evans; her brother, Victor Bair (Barbara); 15 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren.
Helenโs life will be celebrated on Friday, July 1st at 11:00 a.m. in the Sanctuary of her church, 395 South 2nd St., Steelton with viewing 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. and burial in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery.
