Hugh Glover Crosson, 73, son of the late Hugh Glover and the late Gladys Marie Crosson, was born in Henderson, North Carolina. He was affectionately known there as “Snookums” by family and friends.

In holy matrimony, he married the love of his life, the former Marian Elizabeth Williams of Steelton, Pennsylvania the first time on February 14,1986 at Mount Zion Baptist church, Havre de Grace, Maryland officiated by Reverend Robert Moore. Hugh was passionate about reuniting family members, near and far. Spending countless hours on ancestry.com, he was instrumental in this venture as evidenced by the at least five generations of genealogy that were discovered and reconnected.
Grass never grew tall under his feet, as Hugh was in partnership with Marian, Richard Taylor and other friends in various business ventures. He owned and operated a mobile video van, Just Cajun Spices, LLC, and U Got Dirty Headlights, LLC., and was employed by Primerica as an insurance sales agent.

In accordance with the 24th Infantry Division motto, “First to Fight, Victory!”, Hugh exchanged his cross for a crown on Sunday, January 28, 2024 at Carolyn’s Hospice Residence, Harrisburg, PA.
