Ilois McCleave of Stoney Run Road, Dillsburg, PA, departed this life on June 14, 2025. She was born in Gastonia, NC to the late Lorene Robinson McCleave and the late Isaac McCleave.
She received her formal education in the Harrisburg Public School System and graduated in 1976. She retired from Osteopathic Hospital in 2020 where she worked as a dietary aide.
Ilois enjoyed watching her favorite TV shows, Gunsmoke, Little House on the Prairie and her favorite movie, The Color Purple. She was a people person, who loved her family and enjoyed life.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Robert McCleave and Michael McCleave and one sister, Janet Chase.
Ilois leaves to cherish precious memories of her, her children, Japhiel MCCleave and Tyrone Thomas II; her eight grandchildren; one great grandchild; her siblings, Rose Venable (Charles) of Albuquerque, New Mexico, Margaret Gwyn of Morganton, NC, Mary Watson (Robert) of Gastonia, NC, Clayton McCleave of Harrisburg, PA, Charles McCleave Jackson of Worcester, MA; her devoted friends, Faye Gholson and Phyllis Thomas.
Her life will be celebrated at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 24, 2025 at The Edgemont Firehouse, 1407 N. 25th Street Harrisburg, PA 17109.
