Jacqueline Patrice Fitzgerald was born in Lake Charles, Louisiana to Wilfred and Verdia Skinner. She transitioned into eternal life at her home in Harrisburg, PA on March 30, 2025.
She received her formal education in Texas and was a 1982 graduate of the Texas High School for the Performing and Visual Arts. Better known as "Jackie", Jacqueline joined the United States Marine Corps after high school, where she served as a communications specialist. She also met and married her husband of 41 years, Amos Estes Fitzgerald. After 4 years of service with the corps, she was honorably discharged as a Lance Corporal.
She is preceded in death by her father, Wilfred Skinner and leaves behind her husband, Amos Estes Fitzgerald; her daughter, Patrice Fitzgerald; her sons, Amos Anthony and Adam Fitzgerald; her granddaughter and five grandsons, who all loved their grandmother very much.
Jackie loved God, music, movies, her family and her friends. She will be profoundly missed by all who knew her and will always be loved.
Her life will be celebrated at 12 Noon on Wednesday, April 9, 2025 in the Chapel of the Major H. Winfield Funeral Home, Steelton with viewing and visitation from 11:00 a.m. until 12 Noon and burial in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery.
