Obituary For James Dryer

James E. Dryer, 72, of Harrisburg, transitioned into eternal life on Wednesday, September 12, 2018 at Pottsville Manor Care.

He was born in Steelton, son of the late Eddie and Elvira (Pittman) Dryer, a 1965 graduate of Steelton-Highspire High School, attended HACC and was a U. S. Marine Corps Veteran of the Vietnam War.

In addition to his parents James was preceded in death by his sisters, Erma, Deloris, Juanita and Dorothy Dryer and leaves to celebrate his life, his sisters, Angela Wilcox of Los Angeles, CA and Eddie J. Archer (Robert) of Harrisburg; his brother, Earl R. Dryer (Velma) of Middletown; his niece and great niece, Latasha Archie and Autumn Archer-Jackson of Harrisburg; his nephew, Carter J. Dryer of Middletown and his cousin, James Bostic, Sr. (Caroline) of Steelton.

His life will be celebrated on Wednesday, September 19 at 11 a.m. in the Chapel of Major H. Winfield Funeral Home, Steelton, with viewing 10 until 11 a.m. and burial in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery
