As I look at your picture on this obituary page, tears began to run down my cheeks! Cousin James you will be truly missed at the "Penn and Kin" Family Reunion. It was always such a joy to see you, you were always the same with your kindness, that infectious smile and searching eyes. You were a big part of the family reunion, you were faithful, I can't remember a time you were not at the reunion. You were full of knowledge, wisdom and A man of humility, One who loved God, one who's steps were order by the Lord. As the tears run down my face I am sad, but I am happy for you, I am happy that you have reached your final destination. "They that die in the Lord shall rest from their labor and their works follow them." " You have fought a good fight, you kept the faith, you have finished your course and the time of your departure was at hand, we wished you could have stayed a little longer, but it wasn't up to us, God in His infinite wisdom called you home, to that place He went away to prepare for us " Let not your heart be troubled, you believe in God believe also in me, In My Father's House are many mansions, if it was not so, I would have told you, I go to prepare a place for you. Deacon Hughes would lift my spirits with his Christian friendly manner when I came through his barber shop as I passed out 'Our Daily Bread 'devotional in the past so.I always looked forward to listening to what he was going to say from his 'pulpit'wheni got to that end of the street and if I came through when he was open.That stop added sunshine to the day .Rest in peace my brother and my most sincere prayers and condolences to the family.
