John Kenneth "Ken" Broadus, 80, of Susan Way, Harrisburg, transitioned into eternal life on Wednesday, July 31, 2019 at Select Specialty Harrisburg. He was born in Pittsburgh, PA, son of the late John J. and Lenora (Ringgold) Broadus, a graduate of David B. Oliver High School, retired from the PA American Water Company, a member and Deacon of Tabernacle Baptist Church where he served faithfully in many capacities. Ken leaves to celebrate his life, his wife, Joyce Broadus; his three children, Byron Broadus (Wonda), Yolonda Hutchinson (David, both of Pittsburgh, PA and Kimberly Swann of Atlanta, GA; his stepchildren, Erica, Davious and Nakia Jeffries; his 14 grandchildren; 12 great-grands and a host of other relatives and friends. His life will be celebrated on Friday, August 9 at 11:00 a.m. in the Sanctuary of his Church at Capital and Herr Streets, with visitation 10:00 until 11:00 a.m. Arrangements entrusted to the Ministry of Comfort of Major H.
