Keith Daryl Butler, 53, of Harrisburg transitioned into eternal life on Wednesday, May 11, 2022 at the Gardens in Camp Hill. Keith, a loving brother, uncle and cousin, was born in Harrisburg, the son of the late Anna M. Franklin Butler and the late Lloyd C. Hudson. He graduated from Harrisburg High School in 1987 and later worked security at various facilities throughout Harrisburg. He was a dedicated and loyal employee at the UPMC Harrisburg Hospital where he received several awards. He had a passion for reading books and visiting libraries. He also enjoyed watching his favorite television shows and was known for his quick wit, his infectious smile and his kind and compassionate spirit. In addition to his parents, Keith was preceded in death by his sister Melissa. He leaves to celebrate his life; his sisters, Crystal Lasisi, Valerie Griffin, Elaine Butler and Cassandra Harris; his brothers, Shahid Shabazz, Shawn Butler, Christopher Harris and several nieces, nephews and cousins. A Memorial Service will be held on Monday, May 16th at Crossroads Christian Ministries, 350 North Harrisburg Street, Oberlin, PA 17113. Visitation from 10:30 until 11:00 a.m. and Memorial Service at 11:00 a.m. COVID-19 Guidelines will be observed with face masks for all attendees.
