Obituary For Latasha Ross
LATASHA NICOLE ROSS, daughter of Pastor Alvin Ross, Jr. and the late Joyce E. Sweets, was born in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania.
“T.D.” as she was affectionately called by family and friends received her formal education in the Harrisburg Public School District and later received her GED.
She really enjoyed cooking, cleaning, watching movies and spending time with her family, loved ones and friends. She had a special love for all children. One thing she did was enjoy life to the fullest extent.
On Saturday, March 23, 2024 in the early morning hours at her home in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, Latasha Nicole Ross at the age of 42 years, transitioned from this earthly life and is now resting.
She leaves to mourn and celebrate her life, her father, Pastor Alvin Ross, Jr.; her stepmother, Carla Ross; her brother, Alvin Ross III; her sister, Florida Ross; her stepbrother, Jerome Hadley; her stepsister, Passean Hadley; her aunts, Corneil “Aunt Neil” Futrell and Lucertia Wilson (Robert); her uncles, Willie Sweets, Anthony Sweets, Dwayne Ross (Shari), all of Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, Pastor Willie Jackson (Idamae) of Federalsburg, Maryland and Alphonso Jackson of Wilmington, Delaware and a long list of nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and loved ones.
She will truly, truly be missed and remembered by so many family, loved ones and friends. There is no more heartaches, no more pain, she is at peace now.
Latasha's life will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 6, 2024 in the Chapel of the Major H. Winfield Funeral Home, Steelton with viewing and visitation from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m.
