Darrel,
My heartfelt condolences to you and your family on the loss of your precious Mother. You are in my thoughts and my prayers. May your memories of her outstanding life be of great comfort to you.
I met Mamie through Edward Bigler and his brother( my late husband Jerry Bigler) her friend that she had worked with in City Hall of Harrisburg. Though I only knew her for a few years by talking on the phone with her several times and met her once face to face, I felt like I knew her a long time. Edward spoke highly of her. She will be greatly missed. Edward and I send our regards to the whole family. God bless.

My dear Mamie when I received word of your passing, my heart broke and the tears rolled down my face. My Mamie. And then I thought of all our times together when we first met at the City of Harrisburg and I smiled. I worked for the Law Bureau and you worked in the Bureau of Central Services. We instantly bonded and our friendship blossomed. Along with Flo and Judy, we were something else together. Sam Willis use to get so tickled in our company. Over the years, no matter the time in between seeing one another, when we got together it was all love. I loved you and you loved me. You loved me and I loved you. I'm so thankful for you and our friendship. I send my heartfelt condolences to the family and friends of my dear Mamie. Rest in Peace.
With sorrow, Mary Allen
