Margaret I. (Campbell) Gordon, 98, formerly of Harrisburg, peacefully transitioned into eternal life on Thursday, November 30, 2023 in the peace and love of her home in Dayton, OH surrounded by family.
She grew up in Rock Hill, SC where she met and later married Benjamin Gordon and retired from the Hershey Co. in Hershey, PA.
In addition to her parents, Weola Reid and Kemesee, she was preceded in death by her husband, Benjamin βBenβ Gordon; a son, Eddie; her only brother, James and grandson, Gary. She leaves to celebrate her life, her sons, Daniel (Mattie) and Eugene (Georgia); her daughter, Willa Mae; 5 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Margaret brought warmth and joy to all that knew her. She will be greatly missed but her legacy of love and strength will forever live in the hearts of family and friends.
Her life will be celebrated on Friday, December 22 at 11 a.m. in the Chapel of the Major H. Winfield Funeral Home, Steelton, with viewing 10 a.m. until 11 a.m. and burial in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery.
