Mark A. Bostick, 67 of Harrisburg, transitioned home on Wednesday, March 2, 2022. He was born in Harrisburg, son of the late Marion Bostick and the late Betty (Herring) Bostick. Mark graduated from Bishop McDevitt High School with the Class of 1971. Having a desire to further his education and with a passion for art, he entered the Art Institute of Pittsburgh. Shortly after, he began his working career at the former Bethlehem Steel Corporation in Steelton, PA as a Millwright and also was an employee of UPS (United Parcel Service). After retiring from the Steel Mill and UPS, he became an electrician. He wore many hats; a loving brother, father, uncle, grandfather and more. He was a friend. The type of friend who would answer your call in the middle of the night with a joke ready or he would come if you needed him. In his leisure, Mark loved to work out, work, travel to New Orleans and spend time with his family. He was a dependable gentleman with a heart of gold. He could start a conversation at the dinner table or a party that could keep everyone engaged for hours. He was also a true sports fan. The Philadelphia Eagles, 76ers and Phillies! If you played for Philadelphia, you had a fan! He was also known for his cooking. He would make a dish that would make your tastebuds dance. In addition to his parents, Mark was prececed in transitioning by his sister, Estella Bostick. He leaves to celebrate his life and legacy, his daughters, Latoya Durham, Tia Bostick and Tiffany Bostick; his sister, Kaleida Bostick; his brothers, Jerome Bostick and William Bostick; his granddaughter, Emma Durham; his nieces, Tonisha Johnson, Jennifer Monroe, Julia Colbert and Keesha Bostick; his nephews; Terrance Johnson and Darris Hale along with a host of grand nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends. Mark’s life will be celebrated at 5:00 PM on Thursday, March 10 in the Chapel of the Major H. Winfield Funeral Home, Steelton with Visitation from 4:30 PM until 5:00 PM. Live Streaming of the service will be available on the Major H. Winfield Funeral Home’s YouTube page. COVID-19 Guidelines will be observed with face masks for all attendees. www.majorhwinfieldfuneralhome.com

SENDING PRAYERS TO THE FAMILY LOVE YA'LL ❤
I've known Mark's brother Jerome for years, but I only personally met Mark last year. He worked with Jerome of Expansion Wiring Technologies and they were doing a major electrical upgrade to our nonprofit community center on Summit St.
He's the kind of person that you meet, but feel like you've known him for years. Kind, considerate, humorous, and I loved his taste in music, which used to drive Jerome crazy at times on the job site. However, you could see the love they had for each other.
You will be missed Mark, I appreciate the short time we had together. My deepest condolences and prayers of strength, peace, and abundant blessings to the family. LBD
Mark was a dependable servant and friend of Fountain Gate Church and Ministries always ready to lend a helping hand repairing or installing items for the church. Always a smile, never too busy. Our condolences, prayers and love are extended to the family. He will forever be remembered in our hearts.
Mark was a joy to be around. He worked for Exapnsion Wiring Technologies, his brother's company. Everyone that worked with him said he made the jobs fun. He had warm heart, a big heart. He was a great friend and brother-in-law. He will be missed but kept in my heart. My prayers to his family and all that knew him.
Tia, my prayers for you and your family for strength during this very difficult time.
Our staff will continue to keep your family in our prayers. We thank you for allowing us to serve your family.
