Nathan Crosson, Sr. also known by family and friends as "Casey," was born in Sumter, SC to the late Henry Crosson, Sr. and the late Sarah (Hunter) Crosson.
Casey received his formal education in Harrisburg City School District, graduating in 1962 from the former John Harris High School. In 1965 he married Sylvia Chase and out of that union three children were born, Natalie, Nathan, Jr. and Narissa.
He had a fulfilling career working at the PA State Hospital, Olivetti and the PA Farm Show Complex before retiring. He took immense pride in managing Crosson Lawn and Snow Removal Services until he could no longer do so.
He was an avid sports lover from basketball, football, track/field, to horse racing, but his true passion was for the Buffalo Bills football team. He enjoyed bowling, bike riding and had coached the youth football team of the Harrisburg Packers. His knowledge and enthusiasm for sports was unmatched.
In addition to his parents, Casey was preceded in death by his sister, Evelyn and brothers, Henry, Jr., Joseph, Sr., Elliott, Sr. and Isaac.
He leaves to cherish precious memories of him and to celebrate his life, the mother of his children, Sylvia Crosson, his daughters, Natalie Crosson-Brooks, Narissa Gaines (Dwight); his son, Nathan Crosson, Jr.; his brother, Richard Crosson (Marilyn) of Maryland; eight grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; six sisters-in law and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends who mourn his death.
