Obituary For Quentin Anton Ervin

QUENTIN ANTON ERVIN, son of Bobby and Brenda (Daniels) Ervin was born on Monday, October 19, 1987 in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania.

He received his formal education in the Harrisburg Public School District and was a graduate of Harrisburg High School in 2006. Quentin was active in ARC and attended CMU in Harrisburg. He loved to visit different churches in Harrisburg and enjoyed the gospel singing and fellowship.

“Sharp”, as he was known to everyone in the city, was a very special loving teddy bear who enjoyed talking to “every and anybody”. His favorite spots were sitting in front of Chan’s Restaurant on N. 6th Street or the corner store at 6th and Woodbine Streets laughing and talking with everyone. His big cheesy grin made him even more lovable. Quent was a walker. You could find him pushing a shopping cart and waving to everyone, like the unofficial Mayor of the city. He was always laughing, poking you in the side and then saying “Sharp...Who”? He also loved his family, especially all his nieces and nephews and they loved him.

On Friday May 29, 2020 at 2:15 a.m. the Lord whispered in his ear that it was time to come home at the age of 32 years, 7 months and 11 days, Quentin passed peacefully in his sleep in the UPMC Pinnacle Harrisburg Hospital of COVID-19. To God Be The Glory.

Sharp is survived by his loving parents, Bobby and Brenda Ervin; his three sisters, Kandi Knox of Maryland, Bobbi Marie and Brianna Ervin, both of Harrisburg, Pennsylvania; his six brothers, Bobby Eugene McCrory of Rockhill, South Carolina; Bobby Ervin, Kingsley Ervin, Cory and Darryl Eden and Bobby Brown, all of Harrisburg, Pennsylvania; his special aunt, Ms. Jody Brown and a host of other relatives and friends.
