Mary I am praying for you and the rest of the family. I am a member of JHHS and the projects. You and Moe were two persons you could talk with and not only was goodly advice rendered they had no problem showing you the errors of your ways. I now live in Durham, North Carolina was shocked when reading the obit for Moe. To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord. Oh, to be in the presence of the Lord. Mary please accept my condolences for your loss, and remember Psalms 91. Love-in-Christ Allean Stanton
First, I offer my condolences to the family. As I look back over the years, and my memories don't fail me, I am reminded of my nephew Bobby and his love of Jesus Christ. We could say that he was a "God-chaser". Bobby spoke of the goodness of Jesus in all our conversations; we never ended our talks without a prayer. Bobby was so full of love - love for his wife, his children, grandchildren, and ALL other family members. I would say that Bobby demonstrated the epithet of a "family man." Ephesians 5:2 speaks: "walk in love as Christ also have loved us and have given Himself as an offering and sacrifice to God. vs.15: "walk circumspectly...as wise. As a servant, Bobby desired to walk this way. The last times we had opportunities to speak, he talked about Jesus, his love and trust in Him. Bobby's life is a testament to who we are called to be in Christ. If there is anyone who has a desire to honor his memory, I would suggest that they seek the Holy Spirit and ask to be likewise, a follower like this disciple, as he followed Christ. According to a Hebrew saying, disciples desired to: "walk so close to the Messiah, that the dust from His sandals covered them." I ask, is there is anyone who would agree to get dirty and allow God to cover you? Are you willing to get into the dust and dirt and do as Jesus commanded and "go" to bless someone? In the Name of Jesus, I bless each of you who are part of the family of Christ. Pastor Joan M. Peters
