Robyn C. Penn, 71, of Harrisburg transitioned into eternal life on Thursday, January 28, 2021 at Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Mechanicsburg. She was born in Harrisburg, the daughter of the late Charles and Mary (Thompson) Cooper, a graduate of the former John Harris High School and Lincoln University, a former employee of Family & Children Services of the Capital Region, a faithful member of The Greater Zion Missionary Baptist Church, where she served as a Deaconess and with the Missionary and Choir Ministries. Robyn leaves to celebrate her life; her husband, Gary S. Penn; her daughter, Ayana C. Penn; her son, Gary Steven Penn II; her niece, Brooke McCready; her nephew, Ernest White; her six grandchildren; four great grands and a host of other relatives and friends. Her life will be celebrated on Wednesday, February 3rd at 11:00 a.m. in the Sanctuary of her Church, 212 N. Progress Ave., with viewing 10:00 until 11:00 a.m. Covid 19 guidelines will be observed with masks and six foot Social Distancing for all attendees. Arrangements entrusted to the Ministry of Comfort of Major H. Winfield Funeral Home, Steelton, Live streaming of the service will be available on the Major H. Winfield Funeral Home and The Greater Zion Missionary Baptist Church YouTube Channels.
