Obituary For Sade Broadnax
Sade Monique Broadnax Davenport, 37 of Enola, PA transitioned from this life on February 4, 2025. She was born in Harrisburg, PA to her loving parents, Helen Virginia Broadnax and Charlie Howard Broadnax.
She was a 2005 graduate of Central Dauphin East High School where she attended the Vocational-Technical Business program. Sade attended Harrisburg Area Community College (HACC) studying Accounting, was a certified Eyelash Technician, Massage Therapist and Nurse’s Assistant (CNA). Most recently, she worked for the Federal Post Office. Sade attended Emanual Church of God in Christ and Sunday School classes.
She enjoyed shopping, cooking, painting, home decorating projects, traveling and reading. She loved planning family trips and gathering her family for dinners she prepared. Sade loved her children; they were her world, there wasn’t anything she would not do for them. She was a very generous and caring woman who would give whatever she had if you asked. Her beautiful smile, big personality and kind heart drew people to her, she never met a stranger.
She was preceded in death by her son, Franklin Davenport; her husband, Thomas Davenport III; maternal grandparents, Melvin Andrew Carter and Rev. Beatrice Virginia Carter; paternal grandparents, Charlie Howard Broadnax, Sr. and Mae Helen Thomas.
She leaves to celebrate her life, her parents; her children, Kah’dir Broadnax Diggs, Ky’rie Broadnax Diggs and Sade Amarianna Davenport; stepson, Ty’marion Johnson; siblings, Tracy Johnson, Marcus Griffin and Purcell Lane; aunt, Melanie K. Carter; bonus sisters, Carolyn Jones and Magon Peterson; close friends, Alex Moore and Naja Thomas; nieces, nephews and a host of other loving friends and family. She will be missed by all who loved her.
Her life will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, February 21, 2025 in the Chapel of the Major H. Winfield Funeral Home, 704 N. Front Street, Steelton with viewing and visitation from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m.
