TOMIKA LYNNETTE PARKER transitioned into eternal life on Wednesday, September 22, 2022 at the UPMC Harrisburg Hospital in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, She was born in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania to Jacqueline Dixon-Braxton and the late Tommy Lee Phillips. “TYE”, as she was affectionately called by family and friends, received her formal education in the Harrisburg School District and during her working career, she was occasionally employed as a caregiver. Tomika was united in marriage to Clyde McKinley Parker. Their union was blessed with one daughter and three sons. She was a wonderful Mother and Wife that loved taking care of her family. She always enjoyed time spent with her family and going fishing with her husband. In addition to her father, her son, Darious M. Parker, preceded her in death. Tomika leaves to celebrate her life; her husband, Clyde McKinley Parker; her children, Clydaisa Parker, Dayvione Parker and Damari Parker; her grandson, Javon D. Johnson; her mother, Jacqueline Dixon-Braxton; her stepfather, Larry Braxton; her mother and father-in-law, Lena and Curly Parker, Sr.; her sisters, Madeline Middleton, JoNoony Watson-Preston, Shamika Brooks, Brenda Moore and Rhyesha Proctor; her sisters-in-law, Lillian Spriggs, Lorretta, Lisa and Latoya Parker; her brothers, James Braxton, Tommy and Maurice Phillips and Antonio Sellers; her maternal grandmother, Cruze Dixon; her brothers-in-law, Calvin Parker and Curtis, all of Harrisburg, Pennsylvania and a host of nieces and nephews. Tomika was a beautiful person, sister, daughter, mother and wife who will truly be missed.
Her life will be celebrated on Thursday, September 29 at 11:00 AM in the Chapel of Major H. Winfield Funeral Home, Steelton, with Viewing from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM. COVID-19 Guidelines will be observed with face masks for all attendees. www.majorhwinfieldfuneralhome.com
