Obituary For William Thornton Jr.
William H. Thornton, Jr., 40, of Harrisburg, transitioned into eternal life on Wednesday, December 23, 2020 in Harrisburg. He was born in Harrisburg; son of Avis Sloane Wallace and William H. Thornton, Sr. In addition to his parents, William, Jr. leaves to celebrate his life; his daughters, Justice Totton and Justiane Thornton; his sisters, Nakia Sloane-Ritter, Shaunté Sloane-Ambush; Toni and Helen Thornton; his brothers, Jesse, Vaughn, Isaiah, Master, Justin and Jayson Thornton; his stepfather, Keith Lawson and a host of other relatives and friends. On Saturday, January 2nd, his life will be celebrated in the Chapel of Major H. Winfield Funeral Home, Steelton with Public Visitation from 11:00 a.m. until Noon followed by Private Family Services. COVID-19 Guidelines will be observed with face masks and six feet social distancing for all attendees. Live Streaming of the service will be available on Major H. Winfield Funeral Home's YouTube page.
