LaTangie A. Commings was born on July 8, 1959 to Betty Jo Jones and David Buford, Jr in Nashville, TN. She was a graduate and degree recipient from: Redford High School of Detroit, MI, Adrian College of Adrian, MI, University of Mobile of Mobile, AL and Argosy University of Atlanta, GA. She was known to have the gift of Gab, crafts, traveling and quality time on the beach.
Tangie was a believer of Christ at an early age, being baptized at Missionary Temple C.O.G.I.C. in Detroit, MI. Upon her move to Atmore, Alabama she became a member of Deliverance Ministry of Jesus Christ No. 1, later she joined with the Empowerment Tabernacle Christian Center. Once she joined in Holy Matrimony she found it befitting to join with Destiny Worship Center where she remained faithful and loyal until her unexpected call to eternity on June 10, 2018. She was preceded in death by her father, David Buford, Jr. and grandparents David and Ella Buford, Sr. Charles and JoAnna Jones; brothers: Carlos L. Buford and Eric D. Buford; Aunts: Mary Horton, Mabel Buford and Charlene Jones McCroskey; mother-in-law, Octavia Green.
Those who will forever cherish her precious divine memories: husband, Tracy A. Commings of Atmore, Alabama; a loving daughter, Jolecia B. Pearson on Hanover , PA; stepdaughter: Lakeshia America, Lakita Brown and Shieta Finklea all of Atmore, AL; stepsons: Brandon Commings of Atmore, Alabama; a loving precious and caring mother, Betty Jo Jones of Atmore, AL; sisters: Raven B. Felix of New Orleans, LA, Donna Jones of Lithonia, GA and Linda Buchanan of Nashville, TN; God sisters: Dr. Felicia Bishop, Cynthia Dailey, Cindy Hartley and Chandra Johnson; God brothers: Dr. Bernard Bishop and Minister Rodney Bright; father-in-law, Richard Crenshaw of Mobile, AL; brothers-in-law: Christian J. Death of a loved one always brings sadness That's because we want those we love to live and be with family. So it is understandable that we grieve when someone we love dies. What can help in times like these? The bible Can be a source of comfort when we understand what the bible teaches. For Example death was not part of Jehovah purpose in the beginning. He want those we love to live and be with family forever. (Read John 3:16 ) why do we die? [Read Rom.5:12] However death will not be around forever. The bible show us that death will be removed from mankind. [Read Rev. 21:4] That will be a wonderful time. What about those who have died already like LaTangie? At John chapter elevenit tells of an account where Jesus Christ showed that his father had given him power to returned life to the man there who had died . He can do the same for Mrs Commings. In the very near future God`s son will bring back millions of those who have died .
