Mr.Alexander Johnson Jr.,67, of Manchester,GA passed away Saturday,January 15th, at Providence Nursing Facility in Thomaston,GA.
Visitation will be held Thursday, January 20th at McCoy Funeral Home 127 W Second St Manchester,GA. Public visitation is from 3pm-6pm. There will be a family hour at the funeral home from 5pm-6pm.
Alexander was born February 3, 1954 in Woodbury,GA and later raised in Greenville,GA. He attended Meriwether County Schools graduating from Greenville High School. Alexander joined the United States Army after graduating high school. After his military career he began his career as a commercial truck driver.
Mr.Johnson enjoyed reading about various topics in his spare time, also he liked to exercise. He also enjoyed spending time with those who loved him.
Alexander was preceded in death by both of his parents. Survivors include his wife Catherine Alexander of Manchester,GA; Sons Alec Johnson of Geneva, GA, and Kenneth Gates; Daughters Jaleesa Fuller, and Vannese Godfrey; Brother Elbert Johnson of Texas; Sister Eina Ogletree of Greenville,GA. He also leaves to cherish all of his grandchildren, nieces, and a host of other relatives and friends who loved him dearly.
