God granted a great gift and bundle of joy, Arnita “Fruity” Devette Holmes Mack, on August 8, 1973, to Betty Faye Holmes and Edward “Pete” Terry in Warm Springs, GA. She accepted Christ at an early age at the Leverett Hill Baptist Church under the leadership of Reverend O’Hara, and she continued her discipleship there under the leadership of Pastor T.W. Neal. Fruity was loving, caring, and loved her family. She loved and lived life to the fullest. She was a loving daughter, mother, granddaughter, sister, niece, cousin, and friend. She will be truly missed by all. She graduated from Manchester High School, Class of 1991, where she was in Flag Corps. She also attended Devry Institute in Atlanta. She worked as a CNA for numerous of years at Twin Fountains Nursing Rehab and Pruitt Health. On June 21, 2021, Fruity departed this life when God called one of his precious angels home at Wellstar Hospital in LaGrange, GA. Anita leaves to cherish her legacy: a loving and devoted mother and father, Betty Faye Holmes and Edward Terry; her two prized possessions, her son and daughter, Markerius Amir Holmes and Rodnecia Nicole Mack, whom she loved and cherished; one sister, Robyn Terry; one brother, Edward Jermaine “EJ” Terry; her sweet and loving grandmothers, Thelma Lee Holmes and Betty Terry; her devoted and special friends, Rodney Mack, Paulette Copeland, and Theresa Jackson; her bonus mom, Vivian (Roc) Terry; aunts and uncles, Jacquelyn (Neverra) Ellison, James (Shirley) Terry, Michael (Mershell) Terry, Samuel (Cynthia) Terry, Donald Terry, Cynthia (John) Heyward, Tracy McGhee; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
