Blanche Mae Larde, of Clarksville, Tennessee, formerly of Blytheville, Arkansas, was born March 5, 1950, to William Larde, Sr. and Dora Holloway Larde in Blytheville, Arkansas. Blanche was a 1968 graduate of Richard B. Harrison High School also attending AM&N. She was a lifetime member of New Jerusalem Missionary Baptist Church. Blanche was employed by Walmart, working 45 years. She enjoyed watching westerns, listening to the blues and was an avid Arkansas Razorbacks fan. She was preceded in death by her parents, Mr. William Larde, Sr., and Mrs. Dora Holloway Larde. On April 22, 2023, Blanche passed away at the age of 73. She leaves to cherish her memories, two sons, Willie Hughes (Renae Hill) of Oak Grove, Kentucky; and Sedrick Pickens (Monica Murray) of Charleston, Missouri; one grandson, Dedrick Johnson of Houston, Texas; two brothers, William (Katherine) Larde, Jr., of Blytheville, Arkansas and Robert (Barbara) Larde of West Memphis, Arkansas; two sisters, Charlene Clifton of Clarksville, Tennessee; and Dedria (Reverend Larry) Guyton of Blytheville, Arkansas; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Visitation will be held on Saturday, April 29, 2023, from 10:00 until 12:00 noon, at New Jerusalem Christian Fellowship Church, 1215 East Street, Blytheville, Arkansas where Reverend James Jones is the pastor.
