Darlene Henderson Johnson was born August 27, 1972 in Blytheville, Arkansas the daughter of Elijah and Katie Lee Shockley Henderson. Darlene attended the Blytheville School District and was employed by In Home Senior Care as a home health care giver. She was of the Baptist faith and was a member of Truelight Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Dr. David Clark. Darlene transitioned on Monday June 14, 2021 at her home in Blytheville at the age of 48. She was preceded in death by her parents, one sister Annie Mae Hodges and one brother Roy Lee Henderson. Darlene leaves to cherish her memories her husband Ray Johnson of Blytheville, Arkansas; two sons Albert Anderson and Africa Elijah Anderson both of Blytheville, Arkansas; two daughters Shidorurl (Richard Stapleton) Anderson and Lula (Brice Thompson) Anderson all of Blytheville, Arkansas, seven brothers John L. Henderson of Blytheville, Arkansas; Charles (Kasey) Henderson of Steele, Missouri; Curtis (Sue) Henderson of Gosnell, Arkansas; Leonard Henderson of Jonesboro, Arkansas; Chris (Jamie) Clowers of Blytheville, Arkansas; Keith (Erica) Clowers of Caruthersville, Missouri; and Mike Clowers of Blytheville, Arkansas; four sisters Shirley Eskin, Ella (Derrie) Hatcher, Patricia Diane Johnson, and Vickie (Victor) McKinney all of Blytheville, Arkansas; 15 grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles cousins and friends. Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, June 23, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. at Faith and Glory Christian Fellowship, 1510 Kari Lane, Blytheville, Arkansas where Reverend Adron Poole is the pastor. Dr. David Clark will deliver the eulogy with burial to follow in Sandy Ridge Cemetery.
