Henrietta Watt, 65 of Blytheville passed away Monday, June 8, 2020 at her home in Blytheville. She was born in Fort Myers, Florida January 22, 1955 and was the daughter of Henry and Hattie Mae Lark Thompson. She was a 1972 graduate of Blytheville High School and was a graduate of Cotton Boll Technical College with an Associate Degree. Henrietta worked at the Mississippi County Circuit Clerks Office as a Deputy Clerk, she was a member of the Blytheville School Board and was a member of Princess Chapel Church under the pastorage of Reverend Robert Ousley. She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers, Johnny Thompson, Henry Thompson, Jr., and Willie Thompson, two sisters, Ruthie Daniels, and Lula Mae Spann. Henrietta leaves to forever treasure her loving memories her husband, James Watt of the home, one son, John (LaShewn) Lee of Blytheville, Arkansas; four daughters, Arcadia Thompson ( Robert Harris) of Blytheville, Arkansas; Natasha (George) Davis of Kennesaw, Georgia; Brandy Lee (Anthony Taylor) of Blytheville, Arkansas; and Kimberly Lee also of Blytheville, Arkansas; one brother, Curtis Thompson of Houston, Texas; two sisters; Madeline Thompson of Blytheville, Arkansas; and Donna Thompson (James) Smith of Dallas, Texas; eighteen grandchildren, fifteen great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, other family members and friends. Visitation will be held Saturday June 13, 2020 beginning at 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 at McDonald-Horne Funeral Home,1207 South Division Street, Blytheville. Funeral services will be conducted Sunday June 14, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. at First Missionary Baptist Church, 600 East McHaney Street, Blytheville, where Reverend Odale Jones is the pastor. Reverend Robert Ousley will deliver the eulogy with burial to follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery. In accordance with the State of Arkansas COVID-19 guidelines, no more than 50 people will be allowed to gather inside of McDonald-Horne Funeral Home at one time. The practice social distancing of 6-feet will be observed. Face masks are required to be worn by all family and friends attending the visitation and funeral service. McDonald-Horne Funeral Home is in charge of services and arrangements.
