Jamie Lee Grey was born January 24, 1934 in Osceola, Arkansas to Horace and Ella Dooley Grey. He was employed as a mechanic by Eck Adams, Co. in Osceola and was self-employed as an auto mechanic. He was preceded in death by his parents and his beloved wife Amelia Barbara Veasley Grey. Jamie passed away Monday September 20, 2021 at his home in Wichita, Kansas at the age of 87. He is survived by his son Jamie (Monica) Grey, Jr. of Cordova, Tennessee; four daughters Sharon (Clarence) Williams of Wichita, Kansas; Beverly (Frank) Booker of Germantown, Tennessee; Angela (Leon) Harris of Jonesboro, Arkansas; and Renee Bowden of St. Louis, Missouri; one sister Virgie Miller of Chicago, Illinois; 12 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, other relatives and friends. Visitation will be held Saturday, October 2, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, October 2, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. at Bethlehem Baptist Church, 325 West Bard Ave. Osceola, Arkansas. Dr. Mose Black is the pastor. Elder Robert Parnell will deliver the eulogy with burial to follow at Whiteside Cemetery in Osceola.
