Albert "PeeWee" Young was born in Burdette, Arkansas June 24, 1965, to Vivian Lucille Hancock and Eddie Lee Young. Albert was a hard worker, who made sure he provided for his family. He always made time for his kids and his family. He started working and was dedicated to his work. His work would include jobs from Maverick to Tenaris for 18 years. He then took employment at American Greetings (AG) for the past 9 years.
He was always the life of the party-because of his funny jokes and stories he told. His hobbies would include playing basketball in earlier days. He loved listening to old school music. And you could always be sure that he would hit a note or two. If you asked him, he would say he could cook and grill. One thing for sure, wherever he went he always.... always had a cup of coffee in his hand.
Albert was preceded in death by his mother, Vivian Lucille Hancock; his father, Eddie Lee Young; three sisters, Dorothy Mae Hancock, Forrest McKinney-Stewart, and Castella Dyers; four nephews, Mark Dyers, Derrick McKinney, Brandon Hancock and Clayton Wheeler.
He leaves to cherish his memory three children; Sheri Young of Jonesboro, AR, Trevor Young of Akron, OH and Trenton Young of North Carolina; four brothers, Paul (Carolyn) Hancock of Blytheville, AR, Robert (Trish) Young of Maumelle, AR, Eddie Young of Russellville, AR, Greg (Gina) Johnson of Blytheville, AR; four sisters, Arthur Mae Hancock of Blytheville, AR, Benoit Payne of Memphis TN, Annette (Joe) Jackson of North Carolina, and Barbara (Joe) Banieh of Bay City, TX. He also leaves behind one grandchild, Aaliyah of Jonesboro, AR, and a host of friends, nieces and nephews...one special nephew, who was like a brother and best friend, Tracy Taylor.
