Sharonda Katress Jefferson Thompson of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma was born August 7, 1975, in Osceola, Arkansas the daughter of Frank Jefferson, III and Martha Jones Jefferson. Sharonda was a 1993 graduate of Blytheville High School. where she was a member of the Blytheville High School marching band. Sharonda accepted Christ at an early age and was baptized by Reverend O.W. Weaver at Immanuel Missionary Baptist Church, later uniting with St. Paul Missionary Baptist and remained a faithful member until her death. She was employed as a patient access representative team leader for Mercy Hospital in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
Sharonda was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Martha Jones Jefferson. On Monday March 24, 2025, Sharonda passed away at Mercy Hospital in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma at the age of 49.
She will forever be loved and cherished by her husband, Wiley Thompson of the home, her loving sister, Felisa Jefferson of Blytheville, Arkansas; her niece, Brianna Jefferson of Blytheville, Arkansas; three bonus sons, Travian Smith, Brandon Thompson, and Jamal Thompson all of Blytheville, Arkansas one bonus daughter, Vonda (Greg) Price of Cabot, Arkansas; nine bonus grandchildren, many loving aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, April 5, 2025, from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm at St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church, 1630 West Street, Blytheville, Arkansas where Reverend Bennie Washington is the pastor.
The Celebration of Life Ceremony will begin at 1:00 pm with Reverend Washington delivering the eulogy. Interment will follow in Memory Gardens Cemetery.
