Obituary For Ms. Erica Mechelle Chew
Erica Mechelle Chew was born August 14, 1981, in Blytheville, Arkansas to Eric Burton and Mechelle Chew. Erica attended Blytheville School District. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.
Erica was preceded in death by her father, Eric Burton, and grandparents Eddie and Bernice Chew. She passed from this earthly life on Thursday, November 23, 2023, at Regional One Medical Center in Memphis, Tennessee at the age of 42.
Those left to cherish memories are two sons, Casimer Chew of the home and Divine Meadows of Blytheville, Arkansas; her daughter, Cashay Chew of Conway, Arkansas; her mother, Mechelle Chew of Blytheville, Arkansas; two brothers, Anthony Hale of Jonesboro, Arkansas and Kori Chew also of Jonesboro, Arkansas; one sister, Trundalaya Burton of Tulsa, Oklahoma; her grandmother, Mrs. Dorothy Richard of Blytheville, Arkansas; nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held Friday, December 1, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. until 12:00 noon at First Missionary Baptist Church, 600 East McHaney, Blytheville, Arkansas where Reverend Odale Jones is the pastor.
Funeral services will be conducted Friday, December 1, 2023, at 12:00 noon at the church. Minister Blanton Jones will deliver the eulogy with interment to follow in Gethsemane Gardens Cemetery.
