Margaret Ann Kuykendall Woods, 64, of Blytheville, Arkansas, was born January 21, 1961, in Blytheville, Arkansas, the daughter of LJ Kuykendall, Sr. and Lessie Hinton Kuykendall. Margaret was a graduate of Blytheville High School Class of 1979. She was a member of Gospel Temple Missionary Baptist Church in Luxora, Arkansas and a former employee of the Blytheville Holiday Inn.
Margaret was a loving daughter, sister, mother, grandmother, aunt and friend. She loved working puzzle books and watching her favorite soap operas, namely “General Hospital” and the “Young and Restless”.
Margaret transitioned Friday, December 5, 2025, at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was preceded in death by her parents, LJ Kuykendall, Sr. and Lessie Hinton Kuykendall, her brother, Earnest Smith, Jimmy Kuykendall, Christ Kuykendall, and James Earl Kuykendall and a sister Gloria Jones.
Those left to cherish memories are her son, Douglas Woods, Jr. (Michelle Brown) of Little Rock, Arkansas; her daughter Zerita (Earl) Acree of Blytheville, Arkansas; her brothers, Willie (Linda) Kuykendall of Leesburg, Florida; LJ Kuykendall, Jr. (Cherice Chandler) of Blytheville, Arkansas; and David Kuykendall of Arlington, Texas; her sisters, Bessie Kuykendall and Audra Kuykendall both of Blytheville, Arkansas; her aunt, Mamie Kuykendall of Chicago, Illinois, a great-aunt, Elizabeth Fisher also of Chicago, Illinois; sister-in laws, LaVera Kuykendall of Dacula Georgia; and Gloria Kuykendall of Blytheville, Arkansas; two granddaughters that she loved and cherished, Zaniyah Acree and Miarria Woods, a bonus sister, Linda Overton of Cadiz, Kentucky; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held Saturday, December 13, 2025, starting at 1:00 pm until services begin at 2:00 pm at St. James Word of Faith Ministry, 300 North Ruddle Road, Blytheville, Arkansas where Bishop Theodis Rucker is the pastor.
Celebration of Life Services will begin at 2:00 p.m. with Bishop Theodis Rucker delivering the eulogy.
