Rose Etta Greer was born January 20, 1963, in Blytheville, Arkansas, the daughter of George Martin, Sr. and Lue Willie McKinney Martin. Rose was a member of Mt. Moriah Baptist and was a former employee of Pediatric Specialty Care in Blytheville. Rose loved working with her hands, whether she was cooking for her children and grandchildren or working in her yard. She enjoyed shopping at Walmart and Dollar Tree.
Rose passed away Tuesday, November 18, 2025, at Baptist Health Medical Center in North Little Rock, Arkansas at the age of 62. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Willie Lee Greer, her sisters, Georgia Ann Martin and Linda Faye Smith.
Rose’s passing will leave a void in all those that knew and loved her. They find comfort, however, in knowing that Rose is no longer in pain and is free from suffering.
Those that live on to keep her spirit alive and cherish her memories are two daughters, Kamariah and her husband Eric Bradford of North Little Rock, Arkansas; and Kasha Greer also of North Little Rock, Arkansas; three brothers, George and Gail Martin, Jr. of St. Louis, Missouri; Larry and Barbara Martin of Tunica, Mississippi and Davis and wife Gwen Martin of Blytheville, Arkansas; two sisters, Ruby and James Gray of Blytheville, Arkansas and Annie Jean Merritt also of Blytheville, Arkansas; one aunt, Beatrice Bateast, three grandchildren, five bonus daughters, one bonus grandson, and many loving nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 29, 2025, from 11:00 am until services begin at 1:00 at St. James Word of Faith Ministry, 300 North Ruddle Road, Blytheville, Arkansas where Bishop Theodis Rucker is the pastor.
Celebration of Life Services begin at 1:00 following the visitation. Bishop Rucker will deliver the eulogy.
